As a New Muslim Support Volunteer at the Canadian Islamic Information Centre, you will assist new Muslims as they transition into their Islamic journey, offering support, friendship, and guidance.
This role is a beautiful opportunity to build bridges of brotherhood and sisterhood based on sincerity and compassion.
Main Responsibilities:

Welcoming new Muslims and making them feel at home within the community.

Assisting with basic Islamic guidance (salah basics, wudu, daily practices).

Helping connect them with classes, programs, and social activities.

Being available for questions and moral support.

Helping organize introductory workshops and support groups (optional).

Basic understanding of Islamic essentials (you don’t need to be a scholar).
