About The
Canadian
Centre
A Brief Introduction
Founded in 2021 by community volunteers in Calgary, the Canadian Islamic Information Centre exists to fill a vital need:
to offer authentic Islamic guidance, spiritual healing, and educational support for Muslims across Canada.
Rooted in Qur’anic teachings and the Prophetic model of service, we provide programs designed to strengthen faith, uplift hearts, and unite our community.

OUR STORY
2020: Humble Beginnings
At the end of 2020, a small group of volunteers in Calgary, Alberta, came together with a shared vision:
To build a Centre rooted in sincere Islamic service, where healing, education, and community support could meet under the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
What began as informal gatherings in homes and rented spaces quickly gained attention.
Through Qur’anic recitation sessions, personalized duʿāʾ guidance, and one-on-one support, we witnessed firsthand the deep need within the community for trustworthy, compassionate spiritual care.
There were no official offices, no large teams—only hearts filled with sincerity, and a strong desire to serve for the sake of Allah ﷻ.
2021: Establishing a Foundation
In 2021, realizing the responsibility we carried, the Canadian Islamic Information Centre officially registered as a non-profit organization.
This important step gave us structure, credibility, and a formal platform to expand our mission.
With official recognition, we launched structured Ruqyah services based on Qur’anic healing principles and provided private consultations for spiritual and emotional support.
Our team committed itself to three pillars:
Authenticity in knowledge, sincerity in service, and professionalism in delivery.
This year was about planting firm roots—defining our mission, building processes with excellence, and laying the foundation for sustainable, sincere service.
2022: Expanding Educational Services
In 2022, we expanded beyond individual healing to focus on nurturing the mind and heart through Islamic education.
We introduced Arabic language classes for beginners, Qur’an reading programs, and structured Islamic studies for youth and adults.
Our aim was not only to teach information, but to cultivate connection:
A connection to the Qur’an, to prophetic character, and to Islamic identity within a Canadian context.
We also deepened relationships with masājid and local community organizations—offering workshops, collaborating on events, and hosting open sessions to introduce more people to our services.
It was a year when education, community, and spiritual healing started working together under one vision.
2023: Going Nationwide
By 2023, we embraced the opportunity to reach Muslims beyond Calgary—launching virtual services across Canada.
Through online Ruqyah assessments, virtual Islamic classes, live community sessions, and phone consultations, we were able to extend the reach of sincerity and service coast-to-coast.
Our services evolved to meet the needs of a digital world:
Secure, accessible, and always grounded in authentic Islamic tradition.
Distance no longer mattered. Whether in a small town or a large city, Muslims could now access trusted spiritual support—guided by sincerity, confidentiality, and Islamic excellence.
2023 became a milestone year, transforming the Canadian Islamic Information Centre from a local project into a national resource for the Muslim Ummah in Canada.
2024: Strengthening Our Presence
2024 marked a year of consolidation and deep strengthening.
We invested in upgrading our educational platforms, expanding volunteer training, and professionalizing our Ruqyah services with standardized procedures, spiritual assessments, and follow-up care.
We worked diligently behind the scenes to launch a fully developed website (islamicinfo.ca) featuring service information, online bookings, and valuable Islamic resources.
More importantly, 2024 was the year we renewed our internal commitment:
To serve not just numbers, but individual souls — with sincerity, dignity, and compassion.
Building internal systems, expanding the team, and refining every aspect of our delivery meant we were no longer simply growing wider — we were growing deeper.
2025: Looking Forward
As we look ahead into 2025 and beyond, the Canadian Islamic Information Centre aspires to become a national reference for sincere Islamic service.
Our goal is to launch more specialized services:
-
Advanced Ruqyah treatment programs
-
Workshops on Islamic emotional wellness
-
Nationwide Islamic education programs for families
We seek to be a bridge:
A bridge between Islamic healing and modern mental health support, between authentic knowledge and real-life application, and between community needs and faith-driven service.
Through Allah’s help first, and the trust of the community second, we continue our journey—growing not just in numbers, but in sincerity, depth, and service to the Ummah.
Our story, inshā’ Allāh, is only just beginning.

Our Core Pillars
🎯 Our goal is to serve Muslims across Canada with sincerity, compassion, and clarity — offering services that uplift hearts, heal spirits, and strengthen faith.
We recognize that spiritual, emotional, and educational needs are deeply connected.
Thus, our approach is holistic: rooted in Qur’anic guidance, inspired by prophetic character, and tailored to the real-life challenges Muslims face today.
Through every Ruqyah session, educational program, and community service we offer, we seek to be a trusted companion on the journey of faith and personal growth.
📜 Our mission is to be a trusted Centre where Muslims across Canada find sincere support, authentic guidance, and a strong sense of belonging.
We are committed to making Islamic knowledge accessible to every seeker — whether young or old, near or far — ensuring that the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah reach hearts in a way that is meaningful, practical, and transformative.
Beyond education, we work to provide spiritual healing rooted in the Prophetic method, offering relief to those experiencing hardships and reconnecting individuals to the light of faith.
💖 We are rooted in:
- Sincerity (Ikhlāṣ): Every act we undertake is performed purely for the sake of Allah ﷻ, without seeking worldly gain or recognition.
- Trust (Amānah): We hold the trust of our community with utmost seriousness — safeguarding confidentiality, dignity, and emotional well-being.
- Mercy (Raḥmah): Inspired by the mercy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we meet each individual with kindness, patience, and understanding, regardless of their circumstance.
- Beneficial Knowledge (‘Ilm): We are committed to providing guidance and services grounded in authentic, sound Islamic teachings that benefit both faith and daily life.
🤝 We promise to serve with professionalism, humility, and integrity.
Every service we offer — whether spiritual healing, educational support, or community guidance — is delivered with the utmost care, confidentiality, and respect that every Muslim deserves.
When you turn to us, you are not just a visitor; you become part of a larger mission — a mission rooted in sincerity and guided by authentic Islamic principles.
We recognize that seeking help is an act of trust.
Thus, we carry that trust as an amānah (sacred responsibility) before Allah ﷻ and before our community
